Arsenal Contemporary Art Montreal presents a new iteration of its central space dedicated to its private collection: a selection of recent acquisitions from the prominent Collection Majudia are now revealed in the vast skylit hall.

Oil or acrylic on canvas, linen or wood panel, bronze, quartz, glass, mirror, stainless steel, chromogenic prints, hydrostone, selenite, volcanic ash, toothpicks, natural hair... Materiality takes centre stage in this season’s new hanging.

In conjunction with its primary mission, Arsenal Contemporary Art Montreal gathers once again a variety of contemporary Canadian artists alongside international artists. Visit the exhibit to discover a glimpse of one of the most prestigious private contemporary art collections in Canada.

Until September 8

For a limited time, Arsenal Contemporary Art Montreal is making the most of its largest hall to showcase colossal artworks from various private collections. On display are 74 reconfigurable modules, five tragicomic animated videos, a gargantuan scene from famous Bavarian Oktoberfest, and a biblical tale in four panels.
